Biodiversity & Community Health: Operationalizing Linkages Between Conservation and Development

The United Nations University - Institute of Advanced Studies, in conjunction with relevant partners, will convene a side event on "Biodiversity and Community Health: Operationalizing Linkages Between Conservation and Development on the Ground". The event will be held on 9 October 2012 during the 11th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Hyderabad, India.

This event will highlight the inherent linkages in the conservation of biological resources and various practices relevant to health and development at the level of communities that enable achievement of various global development objectives.
