Pilot Activities

In 2007, with the support of the Christensen Fund, UNU-IAS initiated a number of pilot activities designed to demonstrate the types of activities that the TK Institute could undertake.  These activities explore, for example, the links between TK and climate change, TK and water management, TK and biological resources, TK and marine management, TK and forestry and TK and international policy making. The Traditional Knowledge Bulletin is also published on a weekly basis. These pilot activities are taking place in several regions, including Australia, the Pacific, America, Asia and Africa.
